The PETALS Award is presented to an outstanding St. Francis team or teams. PETALS stands for Passionately Engaged Teams Always Lending Support. It recognizes staff for working collaboratively together with the highest level of performance, dedication, and diligence.
We are pleased to congratulate this quarter’s honorees: 7th floor, 8th floor, ICU, and House Supervisors. The staff in these areas were nominated by a patient’s family member who is grateful for the excellent care her mother received throughout her stay at our hospital. Here is what she had to say.
ICU, 7th floor, and 8th floor have all been great ever since my mom got to the hospital two weeks ago. Every single person that has come into contact with my mom has been wonderful. Mark in ICU was really great. Jose on the 8th floor really went above and beyond for my mom. He even gave a list of providers for a Skilled Nursing Facility. Everyone has taken that extra care and time with my mom. I truly appreciate everyone. The 7th floor was so great to us. Everyone at this hospital is extremely courteous, polite, and respectful. Lisa (House Supervisor) was so helpful to us as well. Please let her know how much we appreciated her help!
