We are now offering FREE Stop the Bleed community classes at our hospital. Participants learn how to identify life-threatening bleeding and how to control the bleeding until professional help arrives.
In the class you will learn three techniques to help control bleeding:
- Application of pressure
- Packing of the wound
- Use of a tourniquet.
Other benefits and terms:
- Participants will receive a certificate upon completion
- The class is offered in English and Spanish
- Participants must be at least 15 years old
- Parking will be validated.
