Application Process
We use a comprehensive approach to our application review and although we have set some guidelines for the characteristics of an ideal application, we appreciate that sometimes life happens and it can sometimes derail even the best of intentions. We recommend explaining any such instances in your personal statement. We sponsor J-1 visa residents.
General Guidelines
- Demonstration of lifelong learning
- USMLE/COMPLEX completion including scores and number of attempts
- A positive medical school record
- A minimum of 3 letters of recommendation
- Personal statement demonstrating passion and dedication to the specialty of internal medicine and future goals
Required Application Materials
- Medical School Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
- Medical school(s) transcripts
- US clinical experience
- Outlining number of hours/weeks dedicated to each experience
- Three letters of recommendation dated within the last year and at least one from an Internal medicine faculty member
- USMLE and/or COMLEX transcripts
- A personal statement demonstrating commitment to the Internal medicinespecialty
