The community is invited to our Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass, beginning with a procession of Aztec Dancers and musicians from the hospital’s Guadalupe statue to the Jubilee Chapel in the Patient Tower. This marks St. Francis’ 29th annual celebration, which began in 1994 with the commissioning and installation of the statues of the Virgen de Guadalupe and Juan Diego along the hospital’s main entryway.
Our Lady of Guadalupe remains a significant cultural icon for Mexicans and many Mexican Americans. This celebration acknowledges the connection between faith and well-being, which we embrace through our mission of caring for the whole person – body, mind, and spirit.
Please join us. Procession from our Guadalupe statue to the Chapel begins at 11:25 am. Mass will start at 11:30 am in the Chapel.
