FreeSt. Francis Medical Center is partnering with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and Veritas Healthcare to offer the new COVID-19 bivalent booster and the flu vaccine to the community. The new bivalent booster – designed to address both the original COVID-19 virus strain and the Omincron variants – is now available to anyone, ages 5-11 and 12+, who has received their primary doses of the COVID vaccine.
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health encourages all County residents who are eligible to get COVID-19 vaccines and boosters. With the arrival of influenza season, residents are also encouraged to get their flu vaccine.
