(Lynwood, CA – November 20, 2022) – Clay Farell, FACHE, has been named CEO of St. Francis Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare (Ontario, Calif.). Farell joins St. Francis Medical Center and Prime Healthcare with 14 years of healthcare experience. Most recently, Farell served as Chief Executive Officer at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, a 400-bed acute care hospital in Fountain Valley, California. In 2018, Farell joined Fountain Valley Regional Hospital as Chief Operating Officer. Previously, Farell served as Chief Operating Officer at Los Alamitos Medical Center in Los Alamitos, California, and Nacogdoches Medical Center in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Farell earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas in Austin and a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He served in the United States Air Force as an Acquisitions Officer for the Space and Missile Systems Center in Los Angeles, California. Farell is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
